Her legacy continues in the lives of her son, Jimmie Lee Corley, and her grandchildren, Jurree Corley, Martavia Slaton, Jurraa Grissett, and Jarruu Furlow, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind x great-grandchildren, whose futures will be shaped by the values and love she imparted.
Jennie's extended family includes her stepchildren, Emonisha (Dedric) Simmons and Joe L. Green Jr., as well as her brother, August B. Corley. She was also deeply loved by her sisters-in-law, Ollie McDonald, Eleana McCollough, Johnnie Mae (Earl) Harris, and Gaynell (Tim) Horsley, and her brother-in-law, Joseph (Dean) Sherrod, who all shared in the warmth of her family gatherings and the joy of her presence.
Known for her beautiful smile and a heart full of love, Jennie had a remarkable ability to make each person she encountered feel valued and loved. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and joy, where family and friends gathered to create memories that will be cherished forever. Those who knew Jennie will fondly remember her as strong, stubborn, and kind, a woman who left an indelible mark on every place she visited and every soul she touched.
Jennie's life was a testament to the power of love and faith. Her legacy is not only in her family but also in the community she served with dedication and heart. She lived with grace, providing support and encouragement, and her spirit will continue to guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
