It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jennean Cole on May 18, 2026, at the age of 55, after a brave battle with cardiac arrest. Jennean was born on August 25, 1970, in the close-knit town of Iola, Kansas, where she spent her life surrounded by the love of family and friends. Jennean was the cherished daughter of Dean and Beverly Cole. She was preceded in death by her father, Dean, whose memory she held dear throughout her life. She is survived by her loving mother, Beverly, who always admired Jennean’s unwavering strength and compassion. A devoted mother and grandmother, Jennean is survived by her children, Andrew Block and Brady Block, who were the pride of her life. Her legacy of love continues through her beloved grandchildren, Braylnn Burton, Anjelah Block, and Nadean Block, who brought immense joy and laughter to her days. Jennean was a proud graduate of Iola High School, where she formed lifelong friendships that she treasured deeply. Known for her big heart and generous spirit, Jennean lived a life centered on helping others. She was the person friends and family could always rely on, a steadfast shoulder to lean on in times of need. Her love for the great outdoors was matched only by her passion for spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jennean delighted in watching her grandchildren grow and flourish, often joining them in playful adventures outside. Her enthusiasm for puzzles reflected her keen mind and her appreciation for life’s simple, yet profound, pleasures. Through every chapter of her life, Jennean exemplified kindness and the power of a compassionate heart. Her selfless nature and unwavering support for those around her touched countless lives. Though her departure leaves a void that can never be filled, her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. A celebration of Jennean’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and share stories that capture the essence of who she was—a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a true friend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jennean’s memory to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her lifelong commitment to giving and helping others.
