In Loving Memory

Jenica Williams
October 14, 1985 — April 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jenica Williams, who departed this life on April 15, 2026, at the age of 40. Her life, though tragically cut short by her brave battle with diabetes, was filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and friends.
Born on October 14, 1985, in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, Jenica was the cherished daughter of Shea Jones and Michael Thompson. From a young age, Jenica exhibited a lively spirit and a kindness that would touch the hearts of everyone she met. Baltimore was more than just her birthplace; it was her lifelong home, where she nurtured deep roots and built a community of lasting friendships.
Jenica was a devoted mother and is survived by her loving children, Jamyah Williams and Kimora Jones, who were the light of her life. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the foundation upon which her family was built. Jenica’s legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire Jamyah and Kimora as they journey through life.
In addition to her children, Jenica is survived by her beloved brother, Roger Jones. The bond they shared was one of mutual respect and unwavering support, a testament to the strong family values instilled by their parents. Jenica’s family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being.
Though Jenica did not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, her influence as a devoted mother and sister will echo through the generations. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over them with the same love and care she provided in life.
A service to celebrate Jenica’s life will be held on May 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM at St. Mary Church, located at 425 North Patterson Park Avenue. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Jenica are invited to gather in honor of her memory. Together, we will remember her warmth, her laughter, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
As we say goodbye to Jenica, we carry with us the lessons she taught us—compassion, resilience, and the importance of cherishing each moment. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a diabetes research foundation, in hopes that others may benefit from advancements toward finding a cure. Jenica's family extends their deepest gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
