It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jenette Jaeckel, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on September 10, 2026. Born on July 7, 1965, Jenette was a beacon of light and love in the lives of all who knew her. Jenette was the beloved daughter of Virginia Ann Meyer and the late William Meyer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Jaeckel, whose partnership and love were the cornerstones of her life. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with their children Nina, Paul, and Annmarie. Jenette's nurturing spirit extended to her siblings, Jacquline Huff and Kathy Inzalaco-Bowser, who shared an unbreakable bond with her. A lifelong learner, Jenette pursued her education with passion and dedication. She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale in 1989, earned her RN degree in 1991, and later obtained her Bachelor of Science from Capella University in 2021. Her commitment to education and excellence in her profession was evident in her career as a Registered Nurse and Teacher of Nursing. Known affectionately as "Mrs. Fix It" at work, Jenette's colleagues respected her skill, admired her generosity, and treasured her for her kind heart. Beyond her professional life, Jenette had a zest for living that was contagious. She found joy in traveling and camping, seizing every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories with her family and friends. Her adventures were filled with laughter, love, and the simple pleasures of nature. Jenette's legacy is one of compassion, selflessness, and unwavering kindness. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. As we remember Jenette, we honor her by continuing to spread the love and generosity that she embodied.
