Jemilya Life Anderson, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, surrounded by her cherished loved ones in the comfort of her home. Born on March 26, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois, Jemilya's life was a tapestry of love, adventure, and unwavering kindness. Jemilya was the beloved daughter of Carl Anderson and Markell Hamilton McKeown. She is survived by her devoted siblings, Jeneh Anderson, Khaalid Anderson, Khaliah McCree, Jehron Harris, Brea Harris, James Harris, and Karma Harris. Together, they formed a family bound by strong ties of love and shared memories. Jemilya's educational journey took her from Lee High School in Marianna, Arkansas, where she graduated in 2013, to earning her CNA certification from Job Corp in 2015. Her passion for caregiving was evident in her career, which she began at Crestpark Nursing Home in Marianna. She later brought her compassion and dedication to Springs Of Pinnacle Mountain nursing home and Easter Seals in the Little Rock area. Her colleagues and patients alike were touched by her warmth and generosity. A woman of vibrant interests, Jemilya embraced life with open arms. She loved to travel, explore different cuisines, and immerse herself in the world of books and television shows. Always the life of the party, Jemilya enjoyed gambling, shopping, and playing games. Her most cherished moments, however, were spent with her family, whom she loved dearly. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond her family, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for her adventurous spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering support for her loved ones. A celebration of Jemilya's life will be held on September 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM at her home, located at 8910 Merrivale Drive, Little Rock, AR 72209. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospital and hospice staff, the home health workers, and all who provided care and comfort to Jemilya during her journey. Special thanks are given to those who visited, offered condolences, and walked alongside her in her fight, as well as those who generously contributed to her care.
