Jehmar Lee pouncey fulghum

April 14, 1980 — June 28, 2026

In Loving Memory of Jehmar Jehmar, a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, was born on April 14, 1980, in Tacoma, Washington. He was the cherished son of Linda Fulghum and the late Jimmy Lee Pouncey. His life was a tapestry of joy, humor, and love, woven together by the relationships he cherished and the passions he pursued. Growing up, Jehmar was a fun-loving child who delighted in riding his bike and spending time with friends. His childhood was filled with the laughter of baseball games played throughout his elementary and middle school years. More than just an athlete, Jehmar possessed a natural gift for making people laugh, serving as the family comedian with a smile always at the ready. Jehmar's creativity and passion found a canvas in the kitchen, where he loved to craft new drinks and experiment with different foods. His culinary curiosity was just one aspect of his joyful spirit that brought happiness to everyone around him. Though his journey in this world has concluded, Jehmar leaves behind a rich legacy in his children: Ayana Fulghum, Isiah fulghum, maleeyah fulghum, Nehemiah Whiteside, and Neah Fulghum. His love and pride extended to his cherished grandchildren, Zaxton Fulghum Thomson, Odin Thomson, and the anticipated arrival of Atlas Jehmar Fulghum Thomson, who each held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to theirs. Jehmar was predeceased by his father, Jimmy Lee Pouncey Sr., and his grandparents Helen and William Fulghum, Kuthie Mae Rivers, and Shelly Pouncey. Also greeting him on his new journey are his granddaughter Athena Fulghum Thomson and niece Martazia Wilson. In a special message from his family, they share these heartfelt words: Do not grieve for me for now I am free our father in Heaven has now called on me. The path I walk has come to an end. I took his hand when I heard his call. I turned my back and left it all its not the and, its a new beginning. Nothing is gone, it remains but forever changed. If my parting has left a void fill it with laugher, love and joy. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief be not burdened with times of sorrow & grief I'm free I'm free God wants me now. He set me free. Hallelujah Hallelujah I'm Free by Virgina (Jenny) Jehmar will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his infectious laughter, boundless creativity, and how he was always eating peoples food and flattening peoples car seats and the love he shared with all who knew him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
