Jeffrey Warren Hawkins

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Warren Hawkins, Jeffrey left this world peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on July 13, 1959, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Jeff was the beloved son of Dallas and Janice Hawkins. He was predeceeded in death by his father Dallas, and daughter, Megan Beth Hawkins. He is survived by his mother, Janice Hawkins, his son, Stephen Hawkins, and his sisters, Renee Hawkins and Chris Edington. His close friend, Diane Mohler, also held a special place in his heart. Jeffrey was an uncle to two nephews and one niece, and a great-uncle to three great-nephews. Jeff graduated from Ivy Tech college where he earned an associate degree in robotics, a field that fascinated him and became the cornerstone of his professional life. Upon graduation, he embarked on a fulfilling career with Subaru Automotive of Indiana. For over 30 years, Jeffrey dedicated himself to the company, contributing to its success with unwavering commitment and retiring in 2026. He was an avid traveler, particularly drawn to the vibrant lights of Las Vegas, where he enjoyed many memorable trips. He enjoyed playing poker Books were his constant companions, as he loved reading. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public services. While we respect his wishes, we also know that his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they encourage friends and family to honor Jeffs memory by sharing a kind gesture, a warm smile, or a moment of reflection in his honor.
