February 28, 1963 — April 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey W. Moffa, who departed this world on April 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Jeffrey was born on February 28, 1963, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, a place he cherished and proudly called home throughout his life. His journey on this earth was one of love, dedication, and unfaltering kindness, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Jeffrey was the beloved son of the late Anthony Moffa, Sr. and Anna Termin Moffa, whose love and guidance shaped him into the compassionate and generous soul that he was. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Toni Ann Bibb, his half-sister Pamela Harding, and his brother John Moffa, each of whom he adored deeply and whose memories he treasured. A proud alum of Jeannette High School, class of 1981, Jeffrey carried the spirit of his community with him in all his endeavors. His education laid a foundation for a life of learning and curiosity, traits he generously imparted to his beloved son, Kristofer Moffa, of Jeannette, PA. Kristofer was the light of Jeffrey's life, and his greatest joy came from watching his son grow and thrive. Jeffrey's life was enriched by the love of his surviving siblings, who shared in his joys and supported him through life's challenges. His brothers, Joseph (and wife Ruth) of Jeannette, PA, James (and wife Lisa) of Huntingdon, PA, Jerry of Huntingdon, PA, and Anthony Jr. of Jeannette, PA, along with his sister Maria Gregory (and husband Jeff), were not just family but closest friends who stood by him through thick and thin. His numerous nephews and nieces were a continual source of pride and affection. Throughout his life, Jeffrey demonstrated a remarkable capacity for kindness and generosity, qualities that earned him the admiration and respect of all who knew him. Whether it was through his warm smile, his hearty laughter, or his willingness to lend a helping hand, Jeffrey touched the lives of many and left an enduring legacy of love and compassion. As we remember Jeffrey, we extend our deepest gratitude to the hospice staff who provided exceptional care and comfort during his final days. Their kindness and professionalism were a source of solace to Jeffrey and his family, and their support will forever be appreciated. Jeffrey W. Moffa's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the unyielding strength of family bonds. A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held in Jeannette, PA, where friends and family will gather to honor the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jeffrey's memory, a gesture that would have brought him great joy. May Jeffrey rest in eternal peace, forever in our hearts and memories.
