In Loving Memory of Jeffrey On September 7, 2026, the world lost a truly remarkable soul, Jeffrey, who graced us with his presence for 39 wonderful years. Born on May 22, 1987, in Greenville, SC, Jeffrey was a beacon of kindness and love, known for his wonderful personality and immense heart. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. Jeffrey was the cherished son of Louise Manley and Jeff Rice, who survive him, and a beloved brother to Judy Hughey, Linda Teague, and Jeremy Rice. He was predeceased by his mother, father, two sisters, and brother, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Throughout his life, Jeffrey demonstrated an unwavering dedication to his career as a hotel manager. His work was more than just a job; it was a testament to his commitment to serving others and creating spaces filled with comfort and warmth. He was also an active member of the Sunshine Ministries in Newport, TN, where he touched countless lives with his generosity and spirit. Jeffrey's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid dog lover, finding joy and companionship in the unconditional love of his furry friends. Christmas was a particularly special time for Jeffrey, a season he cherished for its spirit of giving and togetherness—a true reflection of his own character. Those who knew Jeffrey will forever remember him as an angel on earth, a person whose heart was as vast as the universe. His presence was a gift, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. A service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held on September 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Sunshine Ministries, located at 2372 Old Newport Hwy, Sevierville, TN. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and a soul that brought so much light into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Sunshine Ministries in Jeffrey's honor, ensuring his legacy of kindness and service continues to flourish. Jeffrey, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you. Your life was a blessing, and your memory will forever be a treasure.
