Jeffrey peacefully departed this life on March 14, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by those he held most dear. After valiantly fighting a long battle for over a decade, he is now cradled in the arms of his Father God, where pain and suffering no longer exist, and eternal peace prevails.
Born on April 18, 1959, in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, Jeffrey was the beloved son of Clarence E. Cole and Betty J. Cole. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, his brother, Steven, and his sister, Mayo. Despite these losses, Jeffrey's faith and resilience shone brightly, and he remained the cornerstone of strength and unity within his family.
Jeffrey's life was a testament to love and dedication. On June 9, 1982, he married his soulmate, Savatri Darlene Reynolds, embarking on a remarkable journey of love and companionship that spanned an incredible 44 years. Together, they built a family and a legacy grounded in devotion and unconditional love.
A proud graduate of McGavock High School, Jeffrey pursued a career in banking, where he worked as a sorter operator. His dedication and hard work were evident to all who knew him, and he was respected for his integrity and commitment. Beyond his career, Jeffrey was a man of diverse interests. He had an insatiable curiosity for reading and researching and relished in the simple joys of spending time with family and friends.
Jeffrey was known for his vibrant, outspoken nature and a smile that could light up any room. He was the life of every gathering, bringing laughter and joy wherever he went. He took immense pride in being a great husband, father, and grandfather, striving always to be a shining example and leader to his family. His legacy of love and leadership lives on through his children, Jeffrey K. Cole Jr (Amanda Cole) and Ashley Holt (Mario Holt), his five adoring grandchildren—Malaysia, Jay'Lyen, A'zariya, A'Jayla, Kaitlyn—and his cherished great-grandchildren, Key'Arie, Chosen, and Kai'Leigh.
Jeffrey's life was enriched by his close-knit family, including his surviving siblings, Earl (Faye), Edward (Betty), Steve (Ella), Jose (Linda), Timothy (Sandra), and Royce Cole, along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
