In loving memory of Jeffrey Keith Cole Sr., who was born on April 18, 1959, in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee. On March 14, 2026, Jeffrey peacefully departed this life, surrounded by his most cherished loved ones, after a courageous battle spanning more than a decade. He now rests in the arms of his Father God, free from pain and suffering, in eternal peace that this world could never offer. Jeffrey was the beloved son of Clarence E. Cole and Betty J. Cole. He is predeceased by his father, Clarence, his brother Steven, and his sister Mayo. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Savatri Darlene Cole, whom he married on June 9, 1982. Their union was a testament to unwavering love and partnership. Jeffrey is also survived by his son, Jeffrey K. Cole Jr. (Amanda Cole), and his daughter, Ashley Holt (Mario Holt), who will forever cherish his memory and carry forward his legacy of love and strength. A proud graduate of McGavock High School in Nashville, Jeffrey dedicated many years working in banking as a sorter operator. He was a man of many interests, with a passion for reading and researching, always eager to learn and share knowledge. Jeffrey's true joy, however, was found in the time spent with family and friends. Jeffrey was known for his vibrant personality, his outspokenness, and his ability to be the life of any party. With a smile that could light up any room, he was a steadfast family man who took immense pride in being a great husband, father, and grandfather. He led by example, always striving to be a beacon of strength and leadership for his family. He leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings Earl, Edward, Steve, Jose, Timothy, and Royce; his cherished grandchildren, Malaysia, Jay, Lyen, A'zariya, A'Jayla, Kaitlyn, and Adikus; and great-grandchildren, Key'Arie, Chosen, and Kai'Leigh. His legacy also endures through a host of nieces and nephews, who will remember him with fondness and admiration. A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Highland Hills Funeral Home, located at 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Vanderbilt Medical Center for their compassionate care, and to all who have offered visits, calls, and prayers during this difficult time. Jeffrey Cole Sr. was a man of integrity and love, whose life was a testament to the values of family, friendship, and faith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
