It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Feder, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jeffrey left this world on July 16, 2026, at the age of 87, due to complications following heart surgery. Born on January 19, 1939, in London, England, Jeffrey's life journey was one marked by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. Jeffrey was the beloved son of Max and Betty Feder, both of whom predeceased him, along with his brothers Harry Faversham and Henry Feder, and his sisters Miriam Tuttle, Ruth Bromley, and Rita Levy. His legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Suzanne Feder, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love and adventure, residing in San Francisco, Seal Beach, Lakewood, Rancho Mirage, and most recently, Aliso Viejo. A graduate of Washington High School in San Francisco, Jeffrey pursued further studies at San Francisco State University. His career was spent in the scrap metal industry, where he excelled as the sales and marketing director at National Metal and Steel for many years. Jeffrey was known not only for his professional acumen but also for his integrity and leadership. An active member of the Southern California Jewish community, Jeffrey's contributions were numerous and impactful. He was dedicated to serving on boards and raising funds for the Jewish Federation and Temple Israel in Long Beach, demonstrating his deep commitment to his faith and community. Jeffrey was a man of many talents and passions. An avid golfer and tennis player, he also possessed a remarkable gift for public speaking. Later in life, he discovered a love for opera and channeled his creativity into crafting impressive large-scale metal sculptures. His artistic contributions were a testament to his vibrant spirit and never-ending curiosity. Above all, Jeffrey was a devoted family man. His daughters, Sandra Feder and Barbara Feder Ostrov, along with Barbara's husband, Dan Ostrov, were the pride of his life. As a grandfather, he cherished his time with his two grandsons, David and Reed Ostrov, who brought immense joy to his later years. Jeffrey's warmth and generosity touched all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure in the hearts of his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jeffrey's memory to the Jewish Federation Of Orange County, an organization close to his heart. As we say goodbye to Jeffrey, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. May his spirit continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
