With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Blair Anna, a loving father, brother, son, and friend, who left this world on May 25, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on February 16, 1968, in Buffalo, New York, Jeff's journey was one filled with adventure, dedication, and love. Jeff was the cherished son of David and Elaine Anna, who instilled in him the values of kindness and generosity that he carried throughout his life. Preceded in death by his beloved niece, Megan Elizabeth Anna, Jeff is survived by his dear brother, Dr. Christopher Anna, and sister-in-law, Katherine Anna. He was a proud and loving father to his daughter, Jessica Anna, and a devoted uncle to his nephews, Bryson and Jacob Anna. A proud graduate of Augusta Technical College, Jeff completed his studies with honors in 1995, specializing in welding and electrical engineering. His thirst for knowledge and skill development was evident in his remarkable career, where he was known as a jack-of-all-trades. While he excelled as a welder and HVAC technician, it was his work as an electrician that truly sparked his passion and creativity. Jeff's life was marked by his distinguished service in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 2000. Rising to the rank of E5 Sergeant, he was stationed in South Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, and the Philippines, serving his country with unwavering loyalty and courage. He also fought bravely in Iraq during Desert Storm, embodying the spirit of a true American hero. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeff was a man of many interests and talents. He was a self-proclaimed foodie, especially enamored with Asian cuisine—a passion inspired by his time in the Philippines. His culinary creations brought joy and warmth to countless family gatherings. An outdoor enthusiast, Jeff found solace in fishing and working on yard projects, always finding a way to connect with nature. Jeff will be remembered for his quick wit and warm smile, always ready with a joke to lighten any mood. His ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued was a testament to his generous spirit and kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. As we honor Jeff's life, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his enduring impact on the lives he touched.
