May 12, 1968 — July 2, 2026
Jeffrey Alan Brewer, a man of profound faith, dedication, and love, peacefully departed this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on May 12, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the beloved son of James and Sharon Brewer. Jeff's life was a symphony of compassion, education, and service, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Jeff was a man who cherished family above all else. He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Sharon, and his brother, James. He is survived by his devoted wife, Claudina Brewer, who was his steadfast companion and the love of his life since their marriage in 2019. Jeff's legacy continues through his children, Kiara and Jaden, and his children from his previous marriage to Renee Breckon—Adam and Abigail—and their spouses, Gabriella and Dallin. His granddaughters, Charlotte and Alaina, were the light of his life, bringing him immeasurable joy and pride. Jeff is also survived by his brother Joel, sister-in-law Lauren, nephew Conrad, and his lifelong best friend, Carl Ward.
Jeff's passion for music and education was evident in his professional journey. A proud graduate of Northern Arizona University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, he dedicated over two decades as the director of musical education at the Family Music Center in Las Vegas. His commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for music was unparalleled. Later, Jeff transitioned into a role that spoke to his innate desire to help others, serving as the area director for natural disasters at the Las Vegas chapter of the Red Cross. His efforts in emergency preparedness were marked by compassion and an unwavering commitment to community service.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Jeff was baptized in 1992 while attending NAU. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and inspiring those around him. Jeff's thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and he delighted in sharing his learning with others, whether it was a new word, a Gospel principle, or a scholarly fact. His presence was a beacon of wisdom and kindness, always ready to teach and uplift.
Jeff's hobbies and interests were as varied as the many lives he touched. His love for learning was matched only by his love for sharing that knowledge with those around him. He was a guiding light, ever eager to impart wisdom and inspire others with his boundless curiosity.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable man.
