Jeffery Rogers, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, surrounded by family and love. Born on October 9, 1956, in Donalsonville, Georgia, Jeffery was the cherished son of Willie C. and Betty Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Flozell Rogers, and his sister Betty Jean Rogers.
Jeffery was raised in a family that valued love, faith, and community. He attended Seminole County Training School, where he developed a love for learning and formed lifelong friendships. From a young age, Jeffery embraced his faith and became an active member of the Donalsonville Holiness Deliverance Church. His devotion was unwavering, and he found joy in singing, praising, and spreading God's goodness to everyone he encountered. Even as his health declined, his spirit remained strong and his faith unshaken.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by his three sisters, Willie Eva Morman, Laretha (Morgan) Register, and Loretta Conley, and his brother Ralph Rogers, all residing in Donalsonville. Jeffery's memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of close friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity of spirit.
Jeffery's life will be celebrated on August 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 221 North Dowling Avenue, Donalsonville, GA 39845. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by Jeffery are invited to join in honoring his remarkable journey.
Jeffery Rogers will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his joyous spirit, and his ability to touch the hearts of all who knew him. His gentle soul will forever be a beacon of love and light in the lives of those he leaves behind.
