It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Jeffery John Roberts, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeffery passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.
Born on April 28, 1974, in Anniston, Alabama, Jeffery was the cherished son of Tommy and Sue Roberts. From an early age, he exhibited a passion for mechanics and a love for the great outdoors, pursuits that would shape his life and bring him joy throughout his years. Jeffery attended Oxford High School, where he forged lasting friendships and honed his skills that would eventually lead him to a fulfilling career as an auto mechanic. His expertise and dedication to his craft were well-known and deeply respected by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Jeffery's life was enriched by his love for Auburn football, a passion that he shared with friends and family. He was often found cheering on his team with unwavering enthusiasm. His love for the outdoors was equally profound, as he found peace and happiness in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect deeply with nature and those he held dear.
Family was the cornerstone of Jeffery's life. He was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Savana Marie Roberts, who was the light of his life and his greatest pride. Jeffery's love and wisdom will continue to guide her through life's journey. He is also survived by his sister Tina and her husband Greg, his sister Regina Mullally, and his brother Tommy Carroll Roberts Jr. Jeffery's extended family, including a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, will forever remember him as a loving and supportive figure.
Jeffery was predeceased by his parents, Tommy and Sue Roberts, his paternal and maternal grandparents, John and Mary Roberts, and William and Vera Blanton, as well as his nephew David Allen Midkiff and niece Morgan Linden Roberts. Their memories were deeply cherished by Jeffery, and he is now reunited with them in eternal rest.
In the words of his family, a celebration of Jeffery's life will be announced at a later date. His loved ones invite all who knew him to join them in commemorating a life well-lived and to share in the stories and laughter that Jeffery brought into the world.
