Jeffery Fountain, a cherished husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on October 1, 1965, in Hancock, Michigan, Jeffery was a beacon of warmth and humor for all who knew him. Jeffery's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and his spirited approach to life. He was the beloved husband of Lisa, with whom he shared 28 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. A proud graduate of Sun Prairie High School, Class of 1984, Jeffery embarked on a career in the auto industry, a path he followed all his life until his retirement in 2023. His dedication and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Jeffery was a man of many passions. A proud season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers, his enthusiasm for the team was infectious. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as mowing his yard on his cherished John Deere and spending evenings around the campfire with loved ones. His love for card games, particularly Euchre and Pinochle, was well-known, and many family gatherings were centered around the laughter and camaraderie these games brought. He is remembered for his thoughtfulness, humor, and deep commitment to family. Jeffery's siblings, Julie Stover (Jon XX) and Mike (Jenny) Fountain, will forever hold dear the memories of a brother who was always there with a kind word or a playful jest. His surviving family also includes his siblings-in-law, Leon (Mary) Ziegler, Vernon Ziegler (Sadie Cook), and Cindy Ziegler (Larry Stanley), along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory. Jeffery was predeceased by his beloved mother, Nancy Fountain, and brothers-in-law, Craig and Lyle Ziegler. His memory will continue to shine brightly in their absence.
