June 26, 1966 — October 4, 2026

Jeffrey A. Turner, born on June 26, 1966, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend whose life was marked by service, generosity, and a love for adventure. Jeff was the cherished son of Ronald D. and Rosalia A. Turner, both of whom predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria, with whom he shared nearly 35 years of marriage. Together, they raised three remarkable daughters—Marley (Jordan) Lammens, Monica, and Jessica—instilling in them a sense of kindness, intelligence, and strength. Jeff was also the proud grandfather of two-month-old Parker Lammens, who brought joy and light to his life. A dedicated brother, Jeff is survived by his siblings: David (Vickie) Turner, Chris (Marcie) Turner, and his sister Lisa Gottfried (Joey), along with his 8 nieces and nephews. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Jeff's academic journey began at Lake Weir High School, where he graduated in 1984. He pursued higher education with determination, attending the local community college before earning a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Florida (he was a dedicated Gators fan) and an MBA from Regis University. His commitment to education was a source of pride, and he relished every opportunity to learn and grow. His career was a testament to his dedication and patriotism. Jeff enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1987, serving until 1990. After completing his bachelor's degree, he rejoined the Air Force as an officer, serving from 1993 to 2010. His service to the nation continued as a USAF civilian and later a contractor at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. In total, Jeff dedicated nearly 40 years to military service, retiring in March 2026, just shy of his 60th birthday. Outside of his professional life, Jeff was known for his love of Martinis, lounging in the pool, playing with his dog Rory, and his passion for travel, particularly cruises. He had an insatiable curiosity and was always ready for a trivia challenge, anytime, anywhere. His intelligence and generosity were hallmarks of his character, and he was known for offering unprompted advice with the best of intentions. He was an avid Steelers fan. His family shares a poignant message in his memory: "You never know what someone is going through behind closed doors, behind their facade. It's easier to smile and pretend everything is fine than it is to share what's going on deep down." In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that donations be made in Jeff's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his spirit of giving and compassion. Jeff Turner will be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his zest for life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and an enduring love for those he held dear. He will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
