Jeannie Chapman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on November 24, 1946, in Emmett, Idaho, to Frances and Juanita (Nugget) Goslin, Jeannie was a gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Jeannie's life was marked by a deep love for her family and an insatiable curiosity for the world around her. She was a lifelong learner with a passion for reading and an artist whose paintings adorn the walls of her loved ones' homes. Her artistic talents were matched by her love of nature, where she found joy in camping and fishing with family. Her children recall a home filled with music, art, literature, and laughter, a testament to Jeannie's nurturing spirit and creativity. Her marriage of 41 years to Clark Chapman was a testament to a partnership built on love and shared adventures. Together, they traveled across the country, weaving a tapestry of beautiful memories that they both cherished deeply. Jeannie's kind and gentle nature extended beyond her immediate family, making everyone feel worthy, confident, and immensely loved. Her open heart made friends feel like family and extended even to the stray animals her children brought home. Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Clark, and her devoted children: Marcie (Randall) Heathman, Teri Scott, Sheila (Troy) Pulley, Steven (Louise) Martin, and Gregory (Pari) Chapman. Her legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren, including Nick Feaster, Ryan & Rick Howard, Melissa Lewis, Monica Cross, Kaylee Burkhart, Joe Elsberry, Keri Pulley, Robert Burkenbine, Ryan Pulley, Kaitlyn Votroubek, Alex Chapman, and Connor Chapman, as well as her 19 great-grandchildren. Jeannie is also survived by her siblings, Carol (Warren) Garringer and Charles (Val) Goslin, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Francie Markland, brother John Goslin, stepdaughter Angie Chapman, and granddaughter Kassi Pulley. A service to honor Jeannie's life will be held on August 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel, 228 East Main, Emmett, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting Jeannie's generous spirit. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Val, Danielle, Allie, and Vern from Grace Abounds Elder Care for their love and devotion during Jeannie's time in their care. They also wish to thank Cyndi, Lisa, Casondra, Hailey, and Jazmine from Helping Hands Services for their exceptional care and compassion when Jeannie returned to Emmett. The comforting presence of Jenn, Mary, and Carol at Horizon Hospice was immeasurable, and the family is deeply grateful for their support. Special thanks go to family members Kaylee and Theresa for their unwavering presence during Jeannie's final days. Jeannie Chapman's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
