It is with profound sadness yet with a spirit of gratitude for her life, that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeanie Clement Savley on March 6, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Born on August 19, 1950, in the sunlit fields of Lauderdale County, TN, Jeanie was a beacon of love, warmth, and resilience throughout her 75 years.
Jeanie was the beloved daughter of the late Austin and Peggy (Jones) Clement. Her life was marked by a deep dedication to family, hard work, and an enduring commitment to her community. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Robert Lynn Savley, as well as her brother Ricky Clement, and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Clement, who all now welcome her into eternal rest.
A proud graduate and valedictorian of Cosmetology School, Jeanie dedicated many years to her career as a beautician. Her skillful hands and creative spirit brought joy and confidence to her clients, and her laughter often filled the room, making her salon a place of both beauty and friendship.
Jeanie's passions extended beyond her professional life. She had an adventurous spirit and loved the freedom of riding motorcycles, feeling the wind against her face as she explored the open roads. Her talents also shone through in her sewing, where she exhibited remarkable creativity and skill. A seamstress at heart, Jeanie crafted pieces that were as beautiful as they were practical. Additionally, she found joy in the kitchen, where her love for cooking brought her family together, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Above all, Jeanie's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Shannon Jean Savley of Big Sandy, TN, and her loving son, Bob (Janet) Savley of Gates, TN. Her legacy lives on in her grandson, Dustin Lynn Savley, and her three precious great-grandchildren, Oliver, Raelynn, and Addison Savley, who brought her endless joy and pride. She is also survived by her brothers, Benny Clement of Ripley, TN, and Jimmy (Barbara) Clement of Ripley, TN, who will miss her dearly.
Jeanie's life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her. Though she has left this world, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she touched.
A celebration of Jeanie's life will be held on March 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Halls Funeral Home, located at 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN 38040. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and to say a final farewell to a truly remarkable woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jeanie's memory to a charity of your choice, to continue her legacy of caring and kindness.
Jeanie Clement Savley will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave in life.
