Jean Green

January 8, 1944 — July 26, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Green, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Jean left this world suddenly on July 26, 2026, at the age of 82, following a hemorrhagic stroke. Her indomitable spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jean was born on January 8, 1944, in the quaint town of McMinnville, Oregon, to Randal and Lucille Pine. She was the cherished daughter of her parents, who predeceased her, along with three dear nephews. Jean’s early years were spent in McMinnville, where she developed a profound love for the beauty of nature and the simple joys of life. Her childhood was filled with laughter and warmth, creating memories that she treasured throughout her life. Jean was a woman of many talents and passions. Her love for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned her home, and she found peace and solace in tending to her cherished plants. Jean was also an avid reader, often losing herself in the pages of her favorite novels, where she found new worlds to explore and stories to inspire her. Above all, Jean was a devoted family woman. She is survived by her children, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support guided them through every challenge, and her legacy of love lives on in her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and wisdom that will be cherished for generations to come. Jean’s kindness and generosity extended beyond her family to her community, where she was known for her volunteer work and charitable endeavors. She believed deeply in the power of giving and found great fulfillment in helping those in need. In her memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, honoring her spirit of compassion and care for others. Jean Green’s presence in our lives was a gift that we will forever treasure. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and grace, and she leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with the threads of joy and kindness. As we say goodbye to our beloved Jean, we hold close the lessons she taught us and the love she shared so freely. A private family service will be held to celebrate Jean's remarkable life. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
