In Loving Memory of Jazmin Chambers Jazmin Chambers, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 37, after a courageous battle with stage 4b Endometrial cancer. Born on October 28, 1988, in Chicago, IL, Jazmin lived a life filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Jazmin was the cherished daughter of Paula Jones and Ray Chambers. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ophelia Jones and Carter Jackson, whose memory she held dear. Jazmin leaves behind her devoted mother, Paula, and her siblings Mantoya, Jamaal, and Amira Chambers, who will forever hold her spirit close. Her legacy continues through her five adored nieces: Athena Gaines, Vanessa Burr, Desiree Mathews, Charlotte, and Leilani Chambers. Her love also extended to her dear cats, Gambit and Trent, and her close-knit circle of friends, including Robin Mosley, Ashley Lacey, Stella, Malika, and Vanessa. Jazmin's educational journey took her from Hyde Park Academy to Milwaukie High School in Oregon, where she earned her high school diploma. She pursued further education at Clackamas Community College before returning to Chicago to attend DePaul University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. Jazmin's professional life was marked by dedication and passion. She began her career as a cashier at Winco and later served as a receptionist and administrative professional at Chicago Touch. Her career path then led her to Cardone as a medical record clerk, culminating in her role as a Medical Secretary at Misericordia, where she worked until her passing. Jazmin was known for her ability to embrace challenges and her commitment to inclusivity in the workplace. Beyond her professional achievements, Jazmin cherished spending time with her family and friends. She delighted in going to the movies, exploring new restaurants, and sharing in the joy of special occasions with her thoughtful gifts. A lover of horror films and both fiction and non-fiction literature, Jazmin found solace in the stories that filled her imagination. Jazmin's kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She had a unique gift for making others feel welcomed and valued, and her laughter brought joy to many. She was a devoted friend, always ready to lend an ear or a joke to lift someone’s spirits. In accordance with her family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony has been held. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her best friend, Robin Mosley, for the unwavering support during Jazmin’s most challenging times, and to the staff at Endeavor Health for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Jazmin’s memory may do so through donations to a cause close to her heart, as advised by the family. Jazmin Chambers will be dearly missed, but her light will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the love she shared.
