It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jayne H. Smith-Campbell, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend to many, who left us peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the Eastern Idaho Medical Center. She dedicated 30 years of her professional life to the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), where she not only contributed immensely but also formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. An enthusiastic golfer, she participated in many years of summer golf leagues, where her laughter could often be heard echoing across the greens. She loved to travel, finding excitement in new places, and was known to enjoy a fun outing to Fort Hall. More than anything, Jayne cherished time spent with her family, attending games and activities, always a cheerleader in the stands. Jayne was known far and wide for her humor and the joy she brought into every room. Her ability to make friends easily and maintain those friendships over the years was a testament to her genuine and loving nature.
