With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Jayce Andrew Veron, who left this world on May 26, 2026, at the tender age of 19. Jayce was born on a day that symbolizes love, February 14, 2007, in the sunny embrace of California. He spent his days on this earth spreading love and kindness, a fitting tribute to his Valentine's Day birth. Jayce courageously battled a long illness with a grace and fortitude that inspired all who knew him. Although this illness ultimately claimed his young life, it could never diminish the vibrant spirit and joy he shared with the world. Jayce was educated at The Elizabeth College in Guernsey, Channel Islands, where he not only excelled academically but also blossomed into the compassionate and driven young man we all adored. His dedication to learning was matched by his commitment to giving back, as evidenced by his long-standing membership in the Young Business Group. Jayce devoted generous amounts of time and energy to myriad charitable causes, including the Teenage Cancer Trust and Mind Guernsey, among many others. An ardent lover of the outdoors, Jayce found joy in keeping fit and embraced activities such as running, swimming, and spending time on the beach. His artistic flair was as evident as his athleticism; he was a gifted painter with a knack for transforming shabby items into treasures. Jayce was also musically talented, playing the piano, flute, and violin with passion and skill. To know Jayce was to know kindness. He possessed an empathetic spirit and a heart that was ever ready to support and uplift others. His generosity and unwavering willingness to go above and beyond for those he loved and cared about left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Jayce is predeceased by his cherished family members, Biccy and Bethany, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. His legacy of love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends. A service to celebrate Jayce’s life will be held on May 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Martin's Church, Guernsey. The family invites all who knew and loved Jayce to join them in honoring his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GSPCA, a cause close to Jayce's heart. In this difficult time, we find solace in Jayce's own words: "I am the light in the darkness. I will protect you in life and beyond." This message from his family reflects the profound love and protection Jayce offered, which will continue to guide us even in his absence. Jayce Andrew Veron will forever be remembered for his extraordinary kindness, his artistic and musical talents, and the joy he brought into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
