Born on January 21, 2000, in the beautiful state of Massachusetts, Jay was a beacon of light and kindness to all who knew him. His life, though brief, was filled with warmth, love, and a generous spirit that touched everyone around him. Jay was the beloved son of James Vega and his devoted mother who survives him. He was a cherished family member who shared a deep bond with his parents, who supported and encouraged him throughout his life. Jay was predeceased by his treasured family member, Darryl Nunziato, whose memory he held close to his heart. In 2023, Jay married the love of his life, Angela. Their marriage was a testament to true companionship and devotion, and Angela will forever hold the memories of their time together dear. Jay is also survived by Dylan Dunn of Florida, who was more than just a friend but a part of the family and a constant source of joy and laughter. Jay was known for his zest for life and his ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. His untimely departure has left a void in the lives of those who loved him, but his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing him. The family held a private ceremony on September 7, 2026, to honor Jay's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jay's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart, located in Memphis, TN. Jay Vega's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. May he rest in peace, enveloped in eternal love and tranquility.
