In loving memory of Jay-Lin, who graced this world with his presence on December 17, 2005, in the heart of Colorado Springs, CO. On October 13, 2026, Jay-Lin departed from us, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love that will forever be cherished by all who knew him. Jay-Lin was the beloved son of Shawna and John whose unwavering support and love nourished his adventurous spirit. He is survived by his siblings, Khambri, Renee, Romano, De`Vantae, and Meyiah, who shared countless memories and moments of joy with him. Jay-Lin had a special bond with his nephew, Justin, with whom he spent many happy hours playing on his PS5 and sharing laughter. Growing up, Jay-Lin developed a profound love for basketball, a sport that not only fueled his competitive spirit but also brought him closer to his friends and family. He loved music and dancing. His outgoing nature and infectious sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. Whether he was on the court or just hanging out with loved ones, Jay-Lin's ability to bring smiles and laughter was his greatest gift. A service to honor Jay-Lin's life will be held on October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Relevant Word, located at 1040 S Institute. Family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence are warmly invited to come together to celebrate the remarkable life Jay-Lin lived. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated, sent love, and offered prayers during this difficult time. Your support is a testament to the many lives Jay-Lin touched. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Jay-Lin's memory. Jay-Lin's spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and his laughter will echo in our memories. May we all find comfort in the love he shared and the joy he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, dear Jay-Lin; you will be dearly missed and eternally loved."
