In Loving Memory of Jason Steele (January 4, 1977 - May 10, 2026) It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Steele, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Jason departed this world at his home on May 10, 2026, at the age of 49. Born in the heart of West Virginia on January 4, 1977 Jason was the cherished son of Brenda and Marvin Jett, who instilled in him the values of hard work, and love. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, his son, and two brothers, whose memories he held close to his heart throughout his life. Jason’s legacy is lovingly carried forward by his surviving family members: his devoted mother Brenda Jett, his supportive father Marvin Jett, his four amazing sons and two beautiful daughters, and his dear sisters Kimberly Self (Tiffany) and Jennifer Allen (Blake). A man of many talents and interests, Jason spent his days working in road construction and farming, contributing to his community through dedication and hard work. His true passion, however, lay in the great outdoors, where he found joy in hunting, fishing, and hiking. Jason found solace and excitement in adventures, yet nothing compared to the thrill of cheering on Alabama football. Jason possessed an extraordinary ability to bring warmth and happiness to everyone around him. His infectious smile and vibrant personality could light up any room. In honor of Jason's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life. Though we gather in private, the love and remembrance for Jason will echo in the hearts of many. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported them during this difficult time. To everyone who knew and loved Jason, please know that he will be deeply missed by so many. the family asks that you honor Jason’s memory by spending time outdoors and, by catching an Alabama game in his honor.
