In Loving Memory

Jason R. Parrish
February 24, 1976 — July 19, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason R. Parrish, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, on July 19, 2026. Born on February 24, 1976, in Flint, Michigan, Jason's life was a testament to love, loyalty, and resilience.
Jason was the cherished son of Bryant Jack Parrish, Jr., and the late Kathleen Elizabeth Parrish. He carried his mother's memory with him throughout his life, embodying the strength and warmth that she instilled in him. His father, Jack, remains as a testament to the strong family bonds that Jason cherished deeply.
Jason leaves behind his daughter Kyliegh who he loved fiercely, siblings, BJ and Jimi, who, along with Jimi's wife Shauna, and they shared countless memories with him. Jason was a proud uncle to nieces Sabrina, Lennox, and Indie-Rose, who brought immense joy to his life. His extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends was vast and each relationship was unique.
Jason found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as playing a good game of pool, tossing a Frisbee, and engaging in disc golfing. These hobbies were more than just pastimes; they were a way for him to connect with others and embrace the outdoors, which he loved.
Described by those who knew him best as having a "quiet fire," Jason was fiercely protective of his loved ones. His passion for family was evident to all who heard him speak of them, and his loyalty knew no bounds. His protective nature was matched only by the depth of his love, cherished by all who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Jason's life will be held on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Church, located at 173 N. Church St., Ortonville, MI 48462. The family has expressed their immense gratitude for the outpouring of support.
The Parrish family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of Jason's journey and who has offered their support during this difficult time. They feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such an incredible community of love and compassion.
Jason will be deeply missed but will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
