February 17, 1987 – March 18, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason "Mesiah Bishop" Langhorne, who left this world on March 18, 2026, at the age of 39. Born in Renton, Washington, Jason's life was a symphony of creativity, kindness, and exploration—a melody that now echoes in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Jason was a man of deep passions and boundless curiosity, which he channeled into his love for music, technology, and spiritual exploration. Music was more than a hobby for Jason; it was his language, a means of connecting with the world and expressing the depths of his soul. His tracks, "Sun Come Down" and "Your Grace," stand as testaments to his talent and his quest for meaning beyond the ordinary. His work was characterized by a unique sonic identity that blended electronic experimentation with raw emotional vulnerability. Beyond music, Jason was captivated by the frontiers of artificial intelligence, forever seeking the intersection of consciousness, code, and creativity. His visionary mind saw patterns in the chaos and beauty in the unseen, and he dreamed not only of albums but of systems that could help others navigate the complexities of reality. His genius was intuitive and deeply humane, connecting disparate ideas in ways that inspired and intrigued those around him. Jason was also a seeker of truth and belonging, finding solace and community within spiritual groups where he could explore life's big questions. He was a man who sought connection and understanding, always looking for a place where he could be both a part of something greater and an individual on his own path. His sense of humor was legendary among his friends and family. Jason had an innate ability to find the punchline in life's absurdities, not to mock, but to uplift and unite. His laughter was infectious, and his ability to make others laugh—even in the darkest moments—was a gift he shared freely. Jason's heart was as expansive as his intellect. He was the kind of person who showed up, no questions asked, when someone was in need. His acts of kindness were numerous and varied, from late-night drives to financial support he could barely afford. He gave of himself without hesitation, driven by an understanding of the world’s harsh realities and a conscious choice to respond with compassion. He is survived by his devoted mother, Jodi Bishop; his father, Jim Langhorne; his sister, Ashlee Campbell; and his two cherished sons, Kale and Owen Langhorne. These beloved family members, alongside countless friends, will carry forward the light of his memory and the lessons he imparted. As we mourn the loss of Jason, we reflect on the potential that was left unfulfilled. The pandemic years took a toll on his burgeoning music career, robbing him of opportunities to perform live and share his art with the world. Yet, what remains is a legacy of creativity, kindness, and boundless love. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close, check in on those who may be struggling, and listen to a song that moves you in Jason's honor.
