Jason Matthew Morgan

January 28, 1972 — May 2, 2026

In loving memory, we honor the life of Jason Matthew Morgan, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on May 2, 2026, at the age of 54, surrounded by the warmth of his family at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. Born on January 28, 1972, in the serene town of Clinton, Missouri, Jason was a beacon of kindness and dedication from an early age. Raised in a community that valued hard work and family, he carried these principles into his own life with unwavering commitment. A proud graduate of Sherwood High School, Jason forged a path that would see him embrace his passions and serve his community with an open heart. For 29 years, Jason was a respected member of the Carpenters Union, where his exceptional skills and tireless work ethic left an indelible mark. His craftsmanship was not just a reflection of his talent but a testament to his genuine care for those around him. A man who found joy in the rhythm of the natural world, Jason loved nothing more than raising cattle and farming, pursuits that connected him to the land and his roots. His heart, however, found its true home in the arms of his family. Jason shared a devoted and loving partnership with his wife, Melissa Morgan, standing beside her in life and in her noble work at the therapeutic riding center. Their home was a haven of love and laughter, enriched by the presence of their children: Justin Morgan (Kelsey), Hunter Morgan (Cheyenne), and step-daughter Linnsie Houser (John). As a grandfather, Jason's eyes sparkled brightest in the company of his grandchildren: Wyatt, Waylon, Casen, Cooper, Evan, McKennsie, Laney Mae, Hazel, and Kiley. They were the joy of his life, his love for them unparalleled. Jason was a man who found solace and adventure alike in the great outdoors, where hunting and fishing were not just hobbies but shared experiences with those he loved. His legacy is one of generosity and warmth, always ready to lend a hand or share a story. He leaves behind a community richer for having known him, a family fortified by his love, and friends who will carry his spirit in their hearts. As we say farewell to a man who brought light and love to so many, we remember Jason not just in tears but in gratitude for the time we shared. His life, though ending too soon, was a testament to the power of love, family, and dedication. He will be deeply missed, but those who knew him are forever blessed. A celebration of Jason's life will be held in the coming days, where friends and family will gather to honor a man whose impact on this world will be felt for generations. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the therapeutic riding center that held a special place in Jason's heart, ensuring his legacy of kindness and support endures. Rest in peace, dear Jason. Your spirit will forever guide and watch over us.
