In Loving Memory

Jason Langley
August 8, 1988 — May 23, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Langley, a cherished husband, father, son, and brother, who departed from this world on May 23, 2026, at the age of 37, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Jason was born on August 8, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois, to his loving parents, Henry and Mary Langley.
From a young age, Jason displayed a zest for life that was infectious to those around him. He was a beacon of joy and kindness, traits that he carried with him throughout his life. A proud graduate of St. Joseph High School, Jason's education laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth, shaping him into the remarkable individual he became.
In 2004, Jason married the love of his life, Gloria Langley. Together, they built a beautiful family grounded in love and mutual respect. Their union was blessed with a son, Jason Langley Jr., who was the light of Jason's life. The bond Jason shared with his family was unbreakable, and his unwavering love and devotion to them were evident in every aspect of his life.
Jason was a man who cherished family deeply, and this was reflected in the close relationships he maintained with his loved ones. He was a devoted son to Henry and Mary, and a supportive brother to Sean Mosley. Though his beloved uncle Paul Langley and grandmother Ellen Hines predeceased him, Jason held their memories close to his heart, honoring them in his daily life.
Jason's warmth and generosity extended beyond his family. He was a friend to many, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. His presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to know him, and his absence leaves a void that will be felt by all.
A service to celebrate and honor Jason's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at the First Baptist of St. Anthony, located at 442 E State St. Family, friends, and all whose lives Jason touched are invited to gather and share in the loving memories of a remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a lung cancer research organization of your choice, as a tribute to Jason's brave fight against the disease.
Jason Langley leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit and the beautiful memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by those he loved and those who loved him.
