It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Crews, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, who left this world peacefully in his sleep on July 3, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Jason was born on November 18, 1978, and throughout his 47 years, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering generosity. Jason was the cherished son of Elizabeth (Kristen Crews) Johnson and the late Milton (Jake) Crews. He shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Marcie Crews, who stood by his side through life's joys and challenges. Together, they created a loving family and home, which was the center of Jason's world. He was a proud and dedicated father to his children, Haven White, Victoria Crews Shaw, Kaitlyn Crews, and Jason Crews Jr., and a loving stepfather to Lacie Kreger. Jason's children were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams with passion and integrity. Jason served his country with honor in the United States Army from 2008 to 2012, embodying the values of courage and sacrifice. After his military service, Jason found joy and fulfillment working as an Over the Road truck driver, a career that allowed him to explore the vast landscapes of America while providing for his family. Those who knew Jason will remember his quick wit and warm smile. His ability to lighten any mood with a well-timed joke was a testament to his genuine love for life and people. He had a natural gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. Jason's kindness and generosity were among his most defining qualities. He approached life with an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His selflessness and compassion touched countless lives, creating a legacy of love that will endure in the memory of all who knew him. Jason is predeceased by his father, Milton Crews, and is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, who cherished her son deeply. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jason's life will be announced at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance of a remarkable man who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jason's memory to a charity of your choice, continuing his legacy of kindness and generosity. Jason Crews will forever be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of others and the love he shared so freely. May he rest in peace, knowing the profound impact he made on the hearts of so many.
