Jared Mullinax
November 9, 1975 — June 4, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Jared Mullinax, a cherished husband, father, son, and friend. Jared departed this world on June 4, 2026, at the age of 50, in the comforting presence of his family, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. His strength and resilience throughout his illness were emblematic of the way he lived his life—full of grace and determination.
Jared was born on November 9, 1975, in the warm and welcoming community of Parsons, Kansas, to Richard “Sarg” and Ladonna Mullinax. He was a beacon of joy and laughter from a young age, a gift he shared generously with those around him. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Mullinax, and many beloved grandparents, whose memories he cherished deeply.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Jennifer Mullinax, whom he married on June 9, 2000. Their union was one of love, strength, and partnership, a testament to their enduring commitment to one another. Together, they raised four remarkable children—Grace, Isabelle, Sophia, and Samuel—who were the pride and joy of Jared’s life. He is also survived by his loving mother, Ladonna Mullinax, who, along with his family, provided him with unwavering support and love.
Jared was a proud graduate of Parsons High School, class of 1994, and Pittsburg State University, class of 1998. His education laid the foundation for a successful career as a salesman with Gem and Gravere, where he was known not only for his professional acumen but also for his integrity and warmth. Jared’s colleagues and clients alike were drawn to his contagious smile and his genuine interest in the lives of others.
Outside of his professional life, Jared was an avid sports fan, a passion that he shared with his children and friends. Whether cheering for his favorite teams or engaging in spirited discussions about the latest games, his enthusiasm was infectious, bringing people together and creating lasting memories.
Jared was also an active member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, where his faith was a guiding light in his life. He participated in numerous church activities and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need.
Jared’s beautiful way of loving was evident in every facet of his life. His kindness, generosity, and compassion were felt by all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
A celebration of Jared's life will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember the remarkable man who touched so many lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to brain cancer research, in hopes of finding a cure for this devastating illness.
Though Jared’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will forever be cherished in the laughter of his children, the love of his family, and the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will live on, reminding us all to live fully and love deeply.
May he rest in peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before him.
