Janice passed away peacefully at home in hospice care, surrounded by the warmth and love of her cherished family. Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering love.
Born on February 2, 1941, in the vibrant town of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Janice was the beloved daughter of the late Don Neil and Mary Lewis. Her roots in Puerto Rico remained a cherished part of her identity throughout her life, shaping her with the warmth and vibrancy that those who knew her came to admire.
Janice was the loving mother of Miletusboudteaux, who survives her, and she was deeply proud of her role as a grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren and a great-grandmother to nine precious great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent in their company, always eager to share stories, wisdom, and laughter.
Janice was predeceased by her dear siblings, Ashley, Cantrell, and Mitchell Lewis, with whom she shared countless joyful memories and an unbreakable bond. Their presence was always felt in her heart, and she often spoke fondly of the times they spent together.
Throughout her life, Janice was known for her gentle spirit, her kindness to all, and her boundless generosity.
