It is with profound sadness yet a celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Janice Lois Jones, who departed this world peacefully on April 23, 2026, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family in her cherished home. Born on July 5, 1957, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Janice was the beloved daughter of Jimmie and Betty Jones❤️, who preceded her in death, along with her dear sisters, Belinda Jones❤️ and Tina Jones❤️, her brother Jimmie Jr.❤️, and her cherished daughters, Gail Bell and Janika Jones.
Janice was a woman of immense heart and strength, whose love for her family was boundless. She was a devoted mother to her surviving children, Bobby Fair, Tavionn Jones, Vince Bell, Jonathan Bell, Keith Bell, and Conrad Bell. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, enveloping her 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Her life was a testament to her love for family, which she demonstrated through her unwavering support and the many joyous gatherings she hosted in her home. Janice had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and cherished. Her house was always full, a testament to her generous spirit and the deep connections she nurtured with her loved ones.
Janice was known for her outspoken nature, a quality that endeared her to many. She spoke her mind with honesty and conviction, always ready to stand up for those she loved. Her sweet demeanor and her ability to listen with empathy made her a confidante and friend to many.
Educated in Los Angeles, Janice carried the lessons of her upbringing into every aspect of her life. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
In addition to her surviving children and grandchildren, Janice is survived by her niece Miracle Angeletti, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A celebration of Janice’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the serene Irvine Regional Park. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose life was a beacon of love and joy.
As we bid farewell to Janice, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who passed before her and that her spirit will continue to guide and bless us. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
