A proud alumna of Greensboro College, Janice embarked on a lifelong journey of nurturing young minds as a Pre-K teacher. For over three decades, she devoted herself to the education and development of her students, imparting lessons of compassion and curiosity that extended far beyond the classroom. Her comforting and warm smile was a beacon of assurance to the little ones she taught and to the colleagues who admired her steadfast commitment and gentle spirit.
In the heart of Greensboro, Janice found her lifelong partner and love, Marcus Brooks. Together, they raised two remarkable sons, Jake and Caiden Brooks, who were the pride and joy of her life. Although predeceased by her parents and her sons, Janice's spirit and love continue to thrive through her three cherished grandchildren; Maia, Marlee, Kehlani and two great grandchildren; Keshon Lovette and Kyle Denison who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
