Janice was the beloved daughter of the late William and Maryann Gray, whose guidance and love shaped the extraordinary woman she became. She was predeceased by her cherished brother, Tim, and her dear son, Kendall, with whom she is now lovingly reunited. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Sheronda, Samson, and Javon, who each carry forward her indomitable spirit and unwavering faith. Janice was immensely proud of her family, and her heart was a wellspring of joy and affection for her 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories of their grandmother—a woman whose warmth and wisdom touched every aspect of their lives. Janice's kitchen was the heart of her home, where she expressed her love through her renowned cooking, creating meals that brought together family, friends, and community. Her culinary talents were matched only by her strong faith in God, which was the cornerstone of her life and the compass that guided her every step. A service to honor and celebrate Janice's life will be held on February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fondel Funeral Home, located at 832 N Lyon St, Lake Charles, LA 70601.
