It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Janet Wiley Hargrove. Janet passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, where she was born on April 19, 1957. Janet was the cherished daughter of Clarence and Jewel Wiley, who predeceased her, along with her dear brother, Tommy Richard Wiley, and her beloved husband, Jimmy Lee Hargrove. Janet and Jimmy shared a wonderful life together, having married on May 1, 1974. Through their union, they were blessed with three children, whom Janet adored and nurtured with endless love and dedication. She is survived by her devoted children: Tommy Wiley Hargrove, Brandi Hargrove Williamson, and Joshua Lee Hargrove, along with her cherished daughter-in-law Aimee Eason Hargrove. Janet's legacy continues to flourish in her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Her heart was full, and her home was always filled with laughter and love during family gatherings, holidays, and every milestone celebrated together. Janet is also survived by her loving siblings, brother Bobby Glenn Campbell, and sisters Karen Majors Howell ,Sandra Lowery Wimberly, and Janice Washco who remain to carry on the family's traditions and memories. Janet's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she delighted in the achievements and happiness of her entire family. Janet was known for her kind spirit, unwavering strength, and gentle soul. Her warmth touched everyone she met, and her compassion and generosity left a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. She was a beacon of light and a source of comfort to all who knew her, offering support and encouragement with a loving smile and open arms. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Janet's remarkable life on June 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, located at 2305 N. Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL, 35810. We will gather to honor her memory, sharing stories and remembering the joy she brought into our lives. As we say goodbye to our beloved Janet, we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, and she will forever live on in our hearts. Her life was a testament to the power of love, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
