Janet dingler

November 6, 1931 — November 28, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Dingler, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, who peacefully departed this world on November 28, 2025, at the tender age of 94. Janet was born on November 6, 1931, in Pleasantville, New Jersey, to James and Myra Way. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for family and community. Janet grew up in the close-knit town of Pleasantville, where she graduated from Pleasantville High School. It was here that she met the love of her life, Charles Robert Dingler, affectionately known as Bob. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Though Bob preceded her in death, their love story remains a beacon of inspiration to all who knew them. Janet was preceded in death by her dear parents, Myra and James Way, her devoted husband Bob, and her beloved sister Elaine Way Koeppelman. Despite these profound losses, Janet's spirit remained resilient and her heart full. Janet is survived by her loving children: Scott of St. Augustine, FL; Cindy (Ted) of Houston, TX; and Brian (Donna) of St. Augustine, FL. Her legacy also lives on through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and cherished by their "Nana." Janet's family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy and pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Janet's nurturing and compassionate nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her selflessness and willingness to put the needs of others before her own earned her the love and admiration of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and generosity that will be dearly missed but fondly remembered. In honor of Janet's incredible life, a service will be held on June 5, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. at Zion Cemetery, located at 651 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others. In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Janet's love for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the St. Augustine Humane Society. Contributions can be made through their website at https://www.staughumane.org/donate/donatenow.html. As we say goodbye to Janet Dingler, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
