In Loving Memory of Janet Griffin-Feinberg It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet Griffin-Feinberg, who left us on June 15, 2026, at the age of 72, following a long illness. Janet passed away peacefully at Tower Hill Healthcare Center in South Elgin, Illinois. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, on March 6th, 1953, Janet was the cherished daughter of James and Margaret (Ligget) Griffin. They later moved to Bensenville, Illinois, where she graduated from Fenton High School in 1971, marking the beginning of a lifetime dedicated to hard work and perseverance. For 25 years, Janet was a valued member of Rich Industries. She excelled in her professional duties and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued. Janet's family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Brad, and a host of nieces and nephews, including Sheila (Darvin), Shelley (Eric) Bastian, James Maxwell, Shawna Kelsey, Derek Maxwell, William Maxwell, and Jennifer Maxwell. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue through her many great-nieces and nephews, who will forever remember her as a beacon of warmth and generosity. Preceding Janet in death were her parents, James and Margaret; her brother, Alexander (Jim) Maxwell; her nephew, Kevin Maxwell; and her great-nieces, Shaina and Alexis. The memories of these loved ones were never far from her heart. Janet's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and friendship. Her home in Elgin, Illinois, was a place where everyone felt welcome, and her heart was always open. Janet Griffin-Feinberg will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love and kindness will endure forever.
