Jane Watts
December 20, 1951 — March 28, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of Jane Watts, a cherished soul who left this world on March 28, 2026, at the age of 74. Jane passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family in her hometown of Champlain, NY, where she was born on December 20, 1951, to Richard and Rita Rabideau.
Jane was the embodiment of warmth and generosity, qualities that defined her every action and interaction. She dedicated her life to the service of others, a passion that was evident in her long-standing career as a Deli Manager at P&C Grocery. Jane's presence was a soothing balm to those around her; her kindness was infectious, her laughter a melody that brightened even the dullest of days.
In 1973, Jane married her beloved husband, Michael Watts, embarking on a journey of love and devotion that would span decades. Though Michael passed before her, their union was blessed with two incredible sons, Michael and Andrew Watts, who continue to honor their mother's legacy with the same love and compassion she so freely gave.
Jane's family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Watts; her parents, Richard and Rita Rabideau; her siblings, Janet Quick, Joan Torrance, Wayne Rabideau, and Gary Rabideau. Her spirit lives on in her surviving family: her sons, Michael and Andrew Watts; her siblings, Kenneth Rabideau, June Hart, Richard Rabideau, Julie Rabideau, and Jaqueline Rabideau. Each of them carries a piece of Jane's heart, a testament to the love she sowed so deeply within them.
Jane was a beacon of love in her community, a woman who found joy in helping others, a trait that endeared her to everyone she met. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion, and she will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched.
A service celebrating Jane's remarkable life will be held on April 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Jane are invited to gather and share in the memories of a life well-lived.
As we bid farewell to Jane, let us carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to others. Though she may have left this world, her spirit remains ever-present in the hearts of those she loved.
