Jane Troxler

Jane Troxler, a beacon of light and love, departed this world on September 4, 2026, at her home after a courageous journey through the challenges of Alzheimer's. Born on October 4, 1949, in the coastal city of Corpus Christi, Texas, to David and Ruth Jones. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents and her beloved older sister. Jane's life was a testament to love, service, and unwavering faith. She married the love of her life, Wayne, in 1980 in California. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising two boys and welcoming their daughter Cindy in 1981. As a military spouse for 16 years, Jane exemplified resilience and grace, creating a nurturing home wherever life took them. Her professional journey began in the vibrant field of interior design at JC Penney in the 1970s. With creativity and a keen eye for beauty, she brought warmth into every space she touched. In the 1980s, Jane's career took a delightful turn as she became a party planner at McDonald's, sharing joy and creating unforgettable memories for countless children. Jane's heart for service was evident in her extensive volunteer work. She dedicated many years as a Girl Scout leader and Boy Scout Unit Commissioner, inspiring young minds and nurturing future leaders. Her role as a therapeutic foster parent for two decades demonstrated her profound compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of children. Jane also ran a home daycare for six years and served as the Christian Education Director at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Arizona, where she passionately ran children's programs. A fervent supporter of international Girl Scout programs, Jane contributed to summer camps, choirs, flag corps, and awards programs, leaving a lasting impact on many young lives. Her dedication extended to her church communities across various locations as a prayer warrior and includes years of service in the Officer's Wives Club. Jane found joy in writing, painting, running, biking, swimming, and engaging in various arts and crafts. Her hobbies included rollerblading, Bible study, quilting, sewing, and cooking. Jane's personality was as vibrant as her activities; she was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and her willingness to share her life's stories and passions with everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by her surviving family: her devoted husband, Wayne; her brother, her 7 children, and her 9 grandchildren. Though her life was rich with family, she also extended her warmth and care to countless others, embodying a true servant's heart. A service to celebrate Jane's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on September 12, 2026, at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Bartow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Jane's heart. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who have supported Wayne and Cindy throughout the past decade. Your encouragement and support have been a source of great comfort and strength. Jane Troxler's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with kindness, faith, and love. Her legacy will continue to inspire and touch the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
