In loving memory of Jane Davis, who embarked on her eternal journey on June 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 21, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, Jane graced this world with her kindness, creativity, and unwavering spirit for 70 beautiful years. Jane was the beloved daughter of Edgar and Phyllis Piper, who predeceased her. The values instilled by her loving parents were evident in her every action and interaction, radiating kindness and compassion to everyone she encountered. For 45 wonderful years, Jane shared an unbreakable bond with her devoted husband, Tom Davis. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, inspiring all who had the privilege to witness it. Jane was a devoted mother to her children, Tyley Wallen and Tracy Smith. She instilled in them the same values of love, strength, and humility that she held dear. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Colleen Johnson, Zach Smith, and Lauren and Meghan Wallen, and her great-grandchildren, Arianna Smith and Zane Smith, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit within them. Jane was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in creating beauty through her love of DIY projects, always transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary with her unique vision and skillful hands. Her creativity was matched by her joy in life's simple pleasures, such as relaxing by the pool, where she found peace and tranquility amidst the gentle ripples of the water. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Jane's life and legacy, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate her profound impact on their lives. Although her physical presence will be deeply missed, Jane's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us remember Jane Davis for her strength, her warmth, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and resilience is a beacon of light that will guide us through the days ahead. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jane's memory to a cancer research foundation of your choice, to honor her courageous spirit and to help others facing similar battles. Jane Davis's life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and resilience. May she rest in peace, her memory forever a blessing to all who knew her.
