February 16, 1950 — July 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness and gentle reverence that we announce the passing of Jane Ann Mullins, who left this world on July 13, 2026, at the age of 76. Jane departed peacefully at her home in the comforting embrace of her family, following a courageous battle with ALS. Born on February 16, 1950, in Pikeville, Kentucky, Jane was the cherished daughter of the late Helen and Hershel Mullins. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, strength, and unwavering faith. Jane's heart was as expansive as her spirit, characterized by her innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness and generosity were a beacon to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was predeceased by her beloved parents and her dear sister Frances. In a testament to her boundless love and devotion, Jane embraced the role of mother to her nephew, Joshua Hall, after the passing of her sister. Joshua, along with his wife Amanda and their three children—Leela, Kayson, and Maeley—were the light of Jane's life. She was their steadfast Nana, a role she cherished deeply. Surviving Jane is her Nephew Donald Phillips who benefited from her nurturing spirit. His 2 children, Great nieces Felicia Perez, and Chelsea Perez-Ayers (Steven) to whom she was lovingly known as “Nanny,” carried her legacy of warmth and compassion. Her great great-nieces and nephews, Alicia, Eladio, Andrew, Angelina, Tristan, Steven Jr., and Penelope, will continue to be inspired by the love and wisdom she imparted. An active member of the Woodhaven Baptist Church, Jane’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found joy in serving the Lord and was a devoted participant in the church's community activities. Jane possessed a fervent love for reading and an adventurous spirit that took her on many journeys, both near and far, often accompanied by family and friends who shared in her zest for life. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Jane’s friends and church family for their unwavering support, love, and prayers during her battle with ALS. Your comfort and care provided her with strength and peace, and for that, we are eternally grateful. Jane Ann Mullins, beloved by many, is gone from our sight but never from our hearts. She lived a beautiful life, one that is beautifully remembered. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love she so generously shared in life.
