April 4, 1939 — December 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Jane Robinson, who left this world peacefully on December 29, 2025, surrounded by love in the compassionate care of the hospital staff. Born on April 4, 1939, in Monroe, Louisiana, Jane's life was a testament to strength, love, and family. Jane was a devoted wife to Raymond Robinson, with whom she shared a beautiful and fulfilling marriage until his passing. Together, they blended a family of seven children, providing a home filled with love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her parents, a brother, two sisters, beloved daughters Earlene Polk and Karen Smith, and her dear granddaughter Clemecia Shavers. Jane's life was centered around her family, and she found immense joy in spending time with them. Her surviving family includes her devoted son Keith Farmer and his wife Donna, a sister, a brother, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her legacy continues through them, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness. A woman of faith, Jane was a devout member of the Catholic Church. Her spiritual journey was a guiding light throughout her life, offering her comfort and strength. One of her simple pleasures was taking the bus around town, a pastime that allowed her to connect with her community and appreciate the world around her. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Kaiser Permanente for the gracious and compassionate care they provided to Jane in her final days. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort to Jane and her family during a difficult time. In accordance with Jane's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life and legacy. Though the ceremony is private, her family invites those who wish to remember Jane to do so by keeping her spirit of love and kindness alive in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in Jane's memory to a charity of your choice. Your support and remembrance of Jane in this way would honor a life lived with grace and generosity. Jane Robinson's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
