Born on March 23, 1959, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Jana brought joy and warmth to those around her for 67 wonderful years. Jana was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kristen Asack, and son-in-law, Kyle Fortes, of New Bedford. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was immensely proud of her two grandchildren, who were her greatest treasures. As a mother and grandmother, Jana was a constant source of love, guidance, and support, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting embrace. Jana's life was marked by her profound kindness and her ability to touch the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She was not only a loving mother but also a cherished friend to many. Her compassion and warmth were evident in her interactions with everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. A true lover of the simple joys in life, Jana found immense happiness at the beach, where the serenity of the waves and the beauty of the ocean brought her peace.
