In Loving Memory

Jana Gail Martinez
April 10, 1957 — June 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Jana Gail Martinez. Born on April 10, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma, Jana departed this world on June 5, 2026, at Adventure Hospital in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by the immense love of her family.
Jana was the cherished daughter of the late Kallen and Margaret Haddad of Mangum, Oklahoma. The values imparted by her parents—kindness, resilience, and unwavering faith—became the cornerstones of her life, which she lived with grace and humility.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Asmar Hollis (Tiara), Antwain Hollis, Rekah Hollis (Tron’s Bell), Ahmed Hollis (Russita), all of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Octavious Hollis (Ma’shira) of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and guiding them. Her legacy of love and wisdom lives on in her 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and laughter.
Jana's life was a testament to the power of love and faith. She faced life's challenges with dignity and strength, always finding solace in her spirituality. Her life was a living example of Matthew 25:23, "Well done, good and faithful servant," a verse that perfectly encapsulates the way she lived her life—faithfully serving her family, friends, and community.
Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that Jana is no longer in pain and is resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord. The private funeral ceremony will be a time for intimate reflection and gratitude, honoring the incredible woman she was and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.
Jana's warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
In this time of sorrow, we, her family, would like to express our deepest gratitude for the love and support extended to us. May we all find peace in the memories of Jana’s laughter, love, and light, carrying her spirit forward as we live our lives with the same grace and compassion she so effortlessly demonstrated.
