Jamie Rae (Keim) Arce, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on October 8, 1970, in Delphos, Kansas, Jamie graced the world with her warm spirit, quick wit, and an unwavering love for her family. Jamie was the cherished daughter of Sam and Ginger Corey, and Melvin and Brenda Keim, who survive her. She joins her maternal grandparents, Richard and Ethel Majors, and her stepbrother, Dustin Corey, in eternal peace. Jamie's legacy lives on through her loving family, including her brother Jody Keim and his wife Jennifer, her beloved son Joshua, and her cherished nieces Madison Keim of Wichita, Alex Keim of Hutchinson, and Kayden Jamison of Assaria. She also leaves behind her stepchildren in Oklahoma, alongside many treasured family members and friends who held a special place in her heart. Jamie's life was a testament to the love and dedication she poured into her family. At the heart of her life's work was the joy she found in nurturing her beautiful stepchildren, whom she cared for with the utmost devotion while staying at home. Her compassionate nature also extended into her professional life, where she worked in nursing homes, offering care and comfort to those in need. In her youth, Jamie's vibrant energy shone through her passion for sports, a love that followed her throughout her life. Baseball held a special place in her heart, whether she was playing or cheering from the stands. Her kitchen was a haven of warmth and joy, where she often cooked up delicious meals to share with loved ones. Jamie's stories and reminiscences were a hallmark of her presence, as she delighted in recounting tales that brought laughter and light to those around her. Her quick wit and playful spirit endeared her to many, and she had a special talent for lifting the spirits of those around her with a gentle tease or a well-timed joke. Her ability to weave humor with affection was a gift that endeared her to many, leaving lasting smiles and cherished memories. A private ceremony will be held to honor Jamie's remarkable life and to celebrate the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. Although her time with us was far too brief, the love she shared and the joy she spread will forever illuminate the hearts of her loved ones. In this time of sorrow, we remember Jamie Rae (Keim) Arce not with tears, but with gratitude for the profound impact she had on all of our lives. Her spirit remains alive in the stories we share, the laughter we echo, and the love we continue to hold in our hearts. "To my beautiful Daughter, If I could only give you one thing in this life, I would give you the ability to see yourself how I see you every single day. Your beauty, kindness, how happy you make me and how proud I am of you. Only then would you be able to understand just how special you are to me! Love Mom"
