He was predeceased by his father, James, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life. Jamie was a devoted father to his three children, Jared, Tyler, and NissaMarie Zimmer, and a proud grandfather to three grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He shared a special partnership with B.J. Bentley, whose love and companionship enriched his days. Jamie is also survived by his loving mother, his brothers Pete and Bobby Ritzman, and his sister Cheri Vanwinkle, who were all touched by his unwavering spirit and humor. A graduate of Stevenson High School in 1978, Jamie went on to own and operate Zimmer Airport Shuttle, where he was known for his remarkable work ethic and dedication. His passengers often remarked on his quick wit and warm smile that could brighten even the longest journey. Jamie was a member of Planet Fitness in Fort Walton Beach, where he was admired for his determination and friendly demeanor. Jamie had a passion for life that was evident in his love for spending time on the water and riding his motorcycles. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were infectious, inspiring those around him to embrace each moment with joy and gratitude. Those who knew Jamie will remember him as a man with a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
