He cherished his time helping his parents, Marge and Gordon Grimes, at their restaurant at Deer Lodge, where his presence was a comforting constant for both family and patrons. Even in retirement, James's days were filled with the laughter and love of his family, whom he cherished fiercely. James was a man of deep faith, with a spirit as warm as his ever-present smile. He was known for his quick wit, a trait that brought lightness and joy to every gathering.
